Zekt Integrations

Zekt acts as a secure broker of events originating in the individual customers Github organizations (provider) and then distributes those events to approved recipents - defined as consumers! Zekt.dev is built and offered as a SaaS orchestration service - with full self-servicing capabilities for the individual Zekt customers - where they can control, which repositories they want to enable, which workflows that should be white or blacklisted - and which customers of theirs they want to be enable to subscribe to these events. Zekt.dev is built as a super-set layer residing on top of the customers Github organizations. Zekt focuses on security - only distributing meta-data of the events themselves to their target subscribers! A provider always control (approves) requests coming from consumers - handing over control of who is able to collaborate with you - using Zekt.dev. Zekt relies totally on customers having either private or corporate Github instances & are using the customers Github identity to login & access the zekt management interface. Github is our primary intergration vendor and is where we aim to improve collaboration capabilities on an orchestrating layer.

Of course we are using Github in the same way as all other devs around the world - storing, versioning and deploying our code for our solutions. However, we also identified that we can extend some capabilities of workflows - and enable easier collaboration across or within organizations by brokering events of "when something happens in one place" (github organization and repo) - it could mean "it is my turn to trigger on that event" for another customer! Your Github account & credentials are used, when accessing the zekt solution. Further - zekt makes use of our own custom Github apps (OAuth / Provider / Consumer) to enable a frictionless & seamless user expierence - which the customer has to consent to, in order to provide us with the permissions needed to automate configuration & deployment of our Zekt services.

All of the underlying Zekt infrastructure components are built on Azure PaaS services. This enables us to have confidence on scaling, resilience and control to further orchestrate the future. Azure is the backbone of our infrastructure services powering our brokering of events (ingest & distribute)

Stripe powers our payment processing and billing system. We rely on Stripe for secure transactions, subscription management, and comprehensive financial reporting. Zekt does not store financial information ourselves in the backend - only references to our customers sensetive data!
